Backstage Nail & Spa was founded by two friends, Zukhra and Cristina — women with a dream, a passion for beauty, and a belief that every client deserves to feel seen and cared for.
We both came to Chicago in 2013 — Cristina from Moldova and Zukhra from Belarus. In 2014, we met, instantly connected, and decided to build something meaningful together.
Zukhra had already been working in the beauty industry since 2006 and brought years of experience, high standards, and a deep love for the craft.
In 2015, we opened our first salon in the heart of Lakeview, Chicago.
Backstage was born during a time of challenges and growth — but every struggle made us stronger. Today, we are proud to say:
our salon has become a trusted destination for women who value precision, quality, and genuine care.
